Toronto Raptors fans can take a deep breath, knowing that they now have a starting power forward; at least one better than Luis Scola.
According to reports, the Raptors and power forward, Jared Sullinger have agreed to a 1-year deal, with the money yet to be announced. With his 260-frame, Sullinger is able to bully defenders down low while also stepping out a bit to nail a midrange jumper.
With Masai Ujiri only signing the 23-year-old to a 1-year deal, it’s obvious that this isn’t their plan for the longterm. It’s also quite obvious that the former Celtics starter is happy about coming to Toronto; announcing his decision before the media.
