The Toronto Raptors have now won 6 games in a row. The New York Knicks showed little resistance tonight, and the Raps are now an incredible 22-6 while the Knicks sit at a laughable 5-25. The final score was 118-108, however given the fact that Bruno Caboclo and Lucas ‘Bebe’ Nogueira got some burn, it’s fair to say that the scoreline is not indicative.

The highlight of this one had to be the loud ‘we want Bruno chants’. Oh, Raptors fans.

Let’s get to a quick report card:

Offense – A

The Knicks cannot defend for squat, and it showed. Kyle Lowry led the way with 22 points and 9 assists in a cool 30 minutes. Lou Williams, Greivis Vasquez, and Terrence Ross provided a good chunk of the scoring as well, combining for 61 points. The Raps were on fire from deep, hitting 14 threes.

Defense – B

Letting up 108 points is concerning, however given how bad the Knicks are, it’s understandable that the Raps let up. Particularly towards the end of the game, neither team seemed interested in defending the basketball. The Raps had a hard time guarding Carmelo Anthony, as he dropped 28. Jose Calderon also looked like his Raptor-self, scoring 15 points with 10 assists.

Rebounding – A

The Raps outrebounded the Knicks 43-32, and this ultimately put them in the position for the easy win. If only the Knicks had a healthy Andrea Bargnani.

Game Ball – Kyle Lowry

The bulldog of Bay Street has been straight ballin for quite some time now, but has had to take a particularly large chunk of the offensive responsibility with DeMar DeRozan sidelined. 22-9-4 is definitely superstar-esque stats.
