It’s official. The first-seeded Raps- who, by nature, made it difficult on themselves- have finally disposed of the Wizards and now await the winner of Cavaliers-Pacers Game 7 (hahahahaha).
But lost in all of the postgame relief is this incredible quote by Markeiff Morris, tweeted just after the game by an ABC reporter.
Markiefd Morris: “Sometimes the better teams dont win”.

Oh, goodness. The Wizards trash-talk continues even after their season being done. Also, no, he didn’t follow it up with “and we weren’t the better team.”
Their season-long feud with the Celtics last season ended in a Game 7 loss last year. John Wall said they were the best team in the East in November of this season before a loss against Cleveland. They got smoked today after Kelly Oubre called out Delon Wright.
The Wiz lead the league in not being able to back things up, so I guess they’ve resorted to talking trash when they don’t have a game for five months.

Like Morris’s opinion means anything. What did he do for his team beside take dumb fouls ? Just a bitter irrelevant super player who is angry the Wizards and thier antics got beat by the Raps.
He’s right…sometimes they don’t win. Like when the Raps lost two games in Washington, LOL.
It shoulda been a four game sweep!
Enjoy the off season tough guy, hahaha.
