It’s been 241 days since Kobe Bryant has played in an NBA game. To some basketball fans this may be a big deal, but to fans of the Toronto Raptors, it’s just another moment to wait and see. Kobe + Raptors = crying a thousand tears, every-single-time. The Raptors are on a heavy downward spiral as it is,currently in the midst of a five-game losing streak. Kobe is a proven basketball warlord and knows when to pick his battles therefore choosing to deploy his psychological warfare on the mentally fragile Toronto Raptors. Kobe comes to compete, he doesn’t go easy on his opponents, so why would this game be any different? Fear the Black Mamba for he has returned to the NBA, and with the amount of hype surrounding this game there can only be one game-plan, it’s pretty obvious if you ask me.

If the Raptors end up losing tonight I’ll be fine (happens all the time), just as long as they follow these  five essential keys to the game. It’s of the upmost importance, and would be absolutely foolish to ignore.

Cage’s Keys to the Game:

Try to Play Defence…and Don’t Let Kobe Embarrass You

Forget Defence!…Just Don’t Let Kobe Embarrass You

X-Factor: Dwane Casey

The Staples Center is going to be on fire tonight with the return of “you-know-who”. Dwane Casey is going to have to find a way to settle his team if things get out of hand. When the Raptors play a team with a great crowd, communication becomes a problem and the team starts to play nervous basketball. The bright lights will be good for DeMar DeRozan as he hopes to get things going in his hometown against his idol, but for the most part Casey will have to rally his squad against a bunch of vets who still have game. Casey better tell his boys to get out in transition and get those Lakers running.

Is it still to late to sign Raja Bell? Grains of salt people..grains of salt.
