Update on @Raptors DeMar DeRozan. Tests revealed torn left adductor longus tendon. No timetable for return to bball activity. #rtz

Grim news, folks. DeMar DeRozan is out indefinitely for the Toronto Raptors after a nasty spill against the Dallas Mavericks last night. Initially, it didn’t look that bad, however evidently it’s pretty severe. DeRozan is a warrior, so expect him to do all that Derrick Rose isn’t to get back onto the court.
I’m no doctor, but if I had to guess, 2-6 weeks is a likely timetable. This was the schedule Danny Amendola (Patriots receiver) was given. The Raps have been relatively lucky with injuries. They are going to happen from time to time – the key is fighting through them. . Lou Williams, James Johnson, and Greivis Vasquez will likely see extended run. Here’s the injury if you really want to see it again.
