The Toronto Raptors came away with a big win at the end of their road trip over the Miami Heat. After dropping two straight games on the road, the Raps bounced back in a big way, on the second end of a back to back. They took down the Heat by a score of 108-94, dominating the fourth quarter. The Raps now sit at 17-11.

Offense: A

Great showing against a very tough Heat defense. Luis Scola came to play, particularly at the start of this one. He added 20 points. Terrence Ross was cooking from deep, scoring 17 while shooting 5-8 from three. James Johnson added a nice punch with 13. Kyle Lowry was back to normal with 21. And DeMar DeRozan, once again spectacular, with a very efficient 30 points.

The offense was simply flowing well tonight. 51% from the field, 38% from deep is solid offense.

Defense: A-

Down the stretch, the Raptors got it done when they needed to. The effort was much improved tonight – everyone was very engaged and active on both ends. Great, intense basketball from the Raps. Bismack Biyombo was a great rim protector tonight, and James Johnson showed off his defensive versatility. Even TRoss played with some intensity.

Rebounding: A

Bismack won the battle of the boards. He grabbed 15 of the team’s 38 rebounds, along with a crucial 4 offensive boards. Overall, the Raps boxed out quite well tonight.

Game Ball: DeMar DeRozan

Was it even a question? DD has been playing on another level lately, and the biggest thing is that his efficiency has seen an uptick. You have to be happy with this win as a Raptor fan.
