According to Josh Lewnberg at TSN, the Toronto Raptors and centre Jonas Valanciunas have come to an agreement on a contract extension. Terms of the contract have not yet been released, however it was initially reported that JV would agree to a 4-year $60 million dollar offer.

**UPDATE** Valanciunas has agreed to a 4-year $64 million dollar contract that will see him paid 16 million dollars annually. The contract includes a player option in the fourth year and could see JV making in excess of 70 million dollars. **

Valanciunas averaged 12.0ppg, 8.7 reb and 1.2 blocks last season. He is still just 23-years old and has yet to enter the prime of his career. We’re hoping for big things out Valanciunas for these next four years.
