Through the week, DeMar DeRozan performed at a high level, scoring the team’s most points in three of the four wins last week, involving the Los Angeles Lakers, the San Antonio Spurs, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Philadelphia 76ers. He averaged an impressive 24.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists on an efficient .517% from the field.
DeMar wins Player of the Week for the first time in his career, and the seventh player in team history behind Vince Carter, Chris Bosh, Kyle Lowry, Jalen Rose, Mike James, and Lou Williams.
