Woj: Raptors, Casey Agree on 3-Year Deal

Toronto has reached agreement on a three-year contract extension with coach Dwane Casey, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

It’s not a report. It’s a Woj-bomb. The Toronto Raptors and Dwane Casey have agreed on a 3 year extension, according to Adrian Wojnarowksi. Damn, that was quick.

It is obvious that this was the correct choice. While I’ve criticized Casey for some time, he’s made strides. He’s developed the locker room chemistry, clearly has a bond with his players, and most importantly, has developed a successful system that the Raps have bought into. I’m looking forward to more coach Casey, and hope that he continues to improve.
