Kyle Lowry will be returning to the Toronto Raptors folks. The deal will be 4 years, 48 million dollars – great deal for both sides.

Breathe. Now breathe some more. The Raps MVP will be returning for at least 3 more years in a deal that really couldn’t have gotten more even. 4/48 was the deal most reporters, analysts, even us preached as fair, and thankfully both sides saw it that way as well.
Lowry's deal will including an ETO after the third year of the contract, source tells Yahoo Sports.

Kyle Lowry tells Yahoo: "Toronto is just the right place for me."

The ETO was a reasonable addition simply because Lowry had essentially all the negotiating leverage – the Raptors needed him, and a lot of other teams wanted him, so he was pretty much able to negotiate whatever he wanted (with reasonable grounds, obviously).
With the Raptors being notorious for losing out on free agency, this is a big win for the franchise. Finally, respect is paid to the city of Toronto, the organization, and the fans. This should hopefully set the tone for the future, which looks as bright as ever.
