I’ve covered the Raptors for 6 years now. Queen’s University student, music fanatic, and obviously, huge Raptors fan. I’ve endured the pain for quite a while now, as I was a bit too young to enjoy the ‘glory days’, so it’s been a pretty depressing ride thus far. I started writing as a feature columnist/community manager at Bleacher Report, have been featured on websites such as CBSSports and have worked with various sites such as Sports Haze and Rant Sports before I started up Raptors Cage. When it comes to basketball, Raptors basketball is the only basketball. I’ve recently graduated from Brock University and have completed my Post-Grad studies at Fanshawe College in Advanced Filmmaking. I write for Raptors Cage because the site gives me a chance to express in a very real and honest way regarding Canada’s only NBA franchise. From the perspective of someone who has played basketball competitively and consistently followed this franchise regardless of their record or how the rest of the world views them. I truly see covering Raptors basketball as a privilege. To be a true Toronto Raptors fanatic you need dedication and the ability to persevere. From the first Raptor’s lottery pick, to the first championship; it will forever be a Raptors state of mind. Hit me up at www.DeightonGoode.com Click here for Deighton’s archive

I guess when it comes to the Raptors I’m a pretty big fan. Some say obsessed, some say die-hard, I say, “over-the-board” supportive. Years haven’t been kind to the Raptors, but I’ve followed them regardless. However, this team is on the rise with current NBA All-Star DeMar DeRozan, and the upcoming stars in Terrence Ross, and Jonas Valanciunas. Good time to be a fan, ladies and gentlemen. I, on the other hand, am hoping to find success in the Sports Journalism area. VictoryBaby. Click here for Reuben’s archive.
Avid follower of the Toronto Raptors for several years, experiencing the good and rough times. Known to be a DeMar DeRozan encyclopaedia. Also running the Raps section for VAVEL USA. Follow me on Twitter: @libaanstar1 for daily tweets regarding the Raptors. Click here for Libaan’s archive.

Being born in ’95, I share the same birth year as my favourite basketball team. To say I’m a Raptors fanatic would be an understatement. I played basketball throughout my childhood and later on as a teenager. When I didn’t grow any taller than 5’8 at the age of 15, I realized it was time to give up the dream of becoming an NBA Player. With that being said, the next best thing to playing the game is breaking it down through articles such as pregame analyses, postgame analyses, opinion pieces, etc. I’m currently a third year major in Communication Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University. Raptors Cage has given me the opportunity to grow as a writer and expand my knowledge of the game I love so much, and for that, I’m thankful. Click here for Manny’s archive.
I would describe myself to be a lifelong Raptors fan whose loyalty knows no bounds but that doesn’t ever stop me from being critical. I’m from nowhere in particular, having grown up between Jamaica, Edmonton, various cities around southern Ontario, as well as Connecticut, USA. Currently I am a third year Journalism student at Wilfrid Laurier University specializing in documentary production. Writing for Raptors Cage has afforded me the opportunity to further explore my passion for writing as well as my love for the game of basketball. Nothing makes me happier than a Raptors win.
